Meta’s Messenger ‘Watch Together’ Campaign

Campaign Overview 

Meta engaged Social Studies to conduct a creator test to further understand how creators can promote and spread awareness around Meta’s Messenger’s feature Watch Together. Creators were encouraged to stay as authentic as possible, think mobile-first and showcase the feature in a fun, accessible way.

The Strategy

Social Studies activated 5 established Gen-Z and millennial IG creators rooted in the comedic, fashion and sports categories to showcase how Messenger’s Watch Together brings them closer to their friends through authentic and creative content. Participating creators posted 3 in-feed videos supported by 3 story frames and invited a total of 6 friends to participate in their videos and post to their own stories, adding a total of 18 contracted story frames plus an additional 4 frames of added value
