Guest Editor: Petty Cash x The Gramlist

One of our chefs, Walter Manzke, opened this delicious restaurant right down the street from us. It’s our favorite brunch and lunch in town, and their social media girl, Joanna, takes stunning photos.

Taylor owns a great home decor shop and is one of our regulars. She did the best Instagram takeover and posted all the coolest things from her store (including an antique typewriter on our rooftop garden). Espionage is our go-to for gifts.

Kelcey aka KFiSH paints murals all over LA, and he left his mark at our Arts District location. (Eater posted this video of Kelcey and Walter, putting the mural up).

They take the most beautiful photos and tell the stories behind creative teams and people changing the food community all around the world.

Olivia is constantly traveling but managed to host a Petty Cash Smash lunch earlier this year that was so fun!

A reliable source to get a good laugh on a daily basis. Plus, they’re neighbors so we like to spread the love to those nearby.

Their models are just as nice to look at as the clothes they post. And, they’re fellow Angelenos.

As new neighbors in the Arts District, it’s only normal that we order their signature bone marrow dish a few times a week, right?

Wes Avila started this place as a hand-pushed street cart in 2012. Now, he makes some of the most inventive tacos in downtown LA. Wes was also a guest chef during our Test Kitchen run.

Her skateboarding game is as as strong as her photography skills. Her old-school Cali style, like jeans and plaid and Vans, doesn’t hurt.

He’s an editor at Eater LA. Who could be a better dinner companion?  He knows all the great spots and knows exactly what to order!

He’s a talented Mexican chef with many great restaurants in Mexico. And he’s another Test Kitchen guest chef.

One of Food and Wine’s Best New Chefs for 2015 and one of the talented chefs we hosted during our Test Kitchen run for Petty Cash Arts District; his restaurant, Taco Maria, is a can’t-miss in Costa Mesa.
